Each chapter explores different milestones as Iceland’s newest attraction comes to life.
Sweeping glaciers, stunning fjords and ancient mysteries. FlyOver Iceland utilizes state-of-the-art technology to give you the feeling of flight. You will hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-metre spherical screen while our film whisks you away on an exhilarating journey across Iceland. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, combine with the ride’s motion to create an unforgettable experience.
Before guests take flight they will experience an up-close look at Iceland's natural forces through the tradition of oral storytelling in The Longhouse and a stunning visual presentation in The Well of Time.
Before guests take off, they start the journey in an ancient Viking longhouse where they’re greeted by an Icelandic storyteller. By the light of the fire he weaves a tale while shadow-play projections bring it all to life.
In the Well of Time, guests are treated to an immersive presentation through Iceland’s history. It’s a stunning audio and video experience that brings the forces of nature and human spirit to life. You’ll be guided by SúVitra, a character custom designed by beloved illustrator Brian Pilkington, who symbolizes the wisdom and enchantment of Iceland.
