We're in the final stretch as we count down towards the opening of FlyOver Iceland this summer. So many elements need to come together, from the café and retail to the pre-shows and, of course, all the complex technology involved in the ride itself.

The above timelapse shows all the progress happening inside the theatre, including the seat pods being put in place and the installation of the giant four-story-high spherical screen. Here are some of the key updates:

• Inside the ride portion of the attraction, the giant four-story screen is complete and the projection technicians are finalizing calibrations.
• The ride team is completing final adjustments for certifications.
• On the outside of the landmark building in Grandi, landscaping is underway.
